We recently welcomed our fourth loggerhead sea turtle patient of the year on World Loggerhead Day! Falafel was rushed to our East Coast Zoological Foundation’s Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center at Brevard Zoo after being found struggling in the Indian River Lagoon. 

It’s time for a double dose of sea turtle release fun! Juvenile green sea turtles Sir Hooks A Lot and Stag finishing months-long rehabilitation at East Coast Zoological Foundation’s Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center at Brevard Zoo.

This juvenile green sea turtle was found entangled in fishing line at a fishing pier in Port Canaveral and brought to our Sea Turtle Healing Center.

Julienne Fry, named for her arrival on Julienne Fries Day, came to the Healing Center after a very distressing situation.  

A barnacle-crusted adult loggerhead sea turtle has found a safe harbor at our Sea Turtle Healing Center.
