THE CONSERVATION HUB OF BREVARD COUNTY
In addition to doing our part to meet the environmental needs of our community, we’re connecting our corner of the world to larger conservation efforts at the state, national and global levels.
YOUR VISIT IMPACTS WILDLIFE
Quarters for Conservation makes it easy to help wildlife in our backyard and around the world. Zoo visitors can now “vote” for one of three chosen conservation projects using our new virtual voting system. The choices show how our efforts here in Brevard County can benefit animals across the globe.
FIELD PROJECTS
Your Zoo makes a tremendous impact in our own backyard. Here are some of the projects that we are participating in to ensure vibrant habitats and healthy waters in our region. Click on each project to learn more.
GRANT OPPORTUNITIES
Field conservationists associated with non-profit wildlife conservation organizations, check out this opportunity to apply for support through the Wildlife Emergency Fund.
PART OF A LARGER PICTURE
As an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), we have a long history of helping to protect imperiled species and ecosystems. We are committed to SAFE: Saving Animals From Extinction, an AZA-led initiative to defend some of the world’s most vulnerable wildlife.
SUSTAINABILITY
We are better together, which means we focus not only on our own green initiatives at the Zoo, but also work alongside our community to make environmentally friendly changes that protect wildlife and improve our quality of life.
