‘Tis the season! Senior Florida residents (65+): enjoy a deep discount on Zoo admission! During December 2 – 24, senior admission is only $10/person. Tickets can be purchased online or in person.

Want to upgrade your experience? Book a 60 minute private guided tour! Your group will be accompanied by a charismatic member of our Education team who’s got the inside scoop about Brevard Zoo. $15/person.

Jolly Days | December 21 - 23 | 10 AM - 3 PM

Put on your jingle bells and head to the Zoo for a flurry of festive fun! Enjoy a blizzard of activities, music, meet Santa & Mrs. Claus, and watch the animals “unwrap” holiday treats! All Jolly Days activities are included with general Zoo admission.

Noon Year’s Eve | December 31 | 10 AM - 12 PM

Your whole family can celebrate the new year without staying up past anyone’s bedtime! Noon Year’s Eve features a ball drop at noon and a complimentary sparkling juice toast. Enjoy crafts, games, and music as well. All activities are free with Zoo admission.

National Bird Day | January 5 | 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Discover the many ways you can make a difference for our feathered friends! From planting native species and protecting nest sites to supporting Bird-Friendly Coffee and helping birds recover from challenges like vehicle collisions and lead poisoning, every action counts. Explore the zoo with our Brevard Zoo Native Birding Guide, a handy tool for identifying native species like herons, grackles, fish crows, moorhens, spoonbills, warblers, and more. As you embark on the Birding Guide Scavenger Hunt, you’ll not only sharpen your birdwatching skills but also earn a special National Bird Day button, as a reward for your participation. Can you weather the storm? Learn how the Zoo prepares for weather disasters through storm preparations, habitat design, and emergency procedures. $23/Member, $28/Non-Member.

Adult Program: Valentine’s Day | February 8 | 10 AM - 12 PM

We all know how shallow the dating pool can be. How do creatures reproduce when they can’t find a mate? For some female creatures (like komodo dragons), they don’t need a man! Learn all about the unique adaptation of parthenogenesis and other reproduction strategies, just in time to boost your confidence for Valentine’s Day! $23/Member, $28/Non-Member.

Bold Murals | Coming to the Zoo on February 15

Artists are invited to join Brevard Zoo’s upcoming mural exhibition, “Bold Murals: The Joy of Nature,” set to open at the Zoo February 15, 2025. We are looking for 14 Florida-based artists who can be available to paint live at the Zoo for the first few days of the exhibition. Chosen artists will be asked to create 8-foot murals with the prompt of “How does nature bring you joy?” The completed murals from this first exhibition will remain displayed at the Zoo through May 2025. A second exhibition is planned for September 2025, and another call for artists will be held in spring 2025.  

Adult Program: Zookeeper Olympics | March 8 | 10 AM - 12 PM

Olympians are the ultimate athletes, but Zookeepers are the ultimate animal care experts. They may not earn medals, but we’re going to test your strength, stamina, and skill to see if you can hang with the rigors of a zookeeper’s day. $23/Member, $28/Non-Member.
