We recently welcomed an adult male Burmese python to our Zoo. He was brought to us after he was confiscated from someone who did not have the proper permitting to own this reptile. We are happy to be able to provide this individual with a comfortable and appropriate home!

Talk about striking! Our newest venom house resident is boa-sting some serious copper charm. Nicknamed Penny, this 13–year-old annulated tree boa has been settling in well in her new home.  

It was check-up time for Lilly the American crocodile recently! It’s important to us to ensure all our animals are thriving with us, making regular check-ups of our animal residents important.

Today, we’re shedding some light on one of the coolest – but often overlooked – cold-blooded Zoo residents: Gerald our 7-year-old Amazon puffing snake.

Wander around our Zoo, and you’ll find some habitats are home to a variety of animals. These multi- or mixed-species spaces provide a unique experience for our animals and guests alike.

We’ve completed our first set of introductions between our male and female Grand Cayman blue iguanas, Leonard and Lucia!
