It’s always a special day when we wish one of our Sea Turtle Healing Center patients well on their journey back to the ocean. Recently, we were lucky enough to wish TWO patients well! We said bon voyage to Jellyfish and Joey Chestnut, two juvenile green sea turtles.

If the turtle you spot in our Zoo looks particularly good for their age, well, they just might be doing pretty well for their age too! 

Walking through Wild Florida, you may miss one of the animal residents who call this loop home: Killer, the Gulf Coast box turtle.

May 23 is World Turtle Day! Celebrate with us by learning more about some of the species that we house here at the Zoo.
