Take your Zoo visit to the next level with animal feedings, kayak tours, train rides, aerial adventures and other incredible experiences. There’s something for everyone!

Please note: As we enhance our facilities, please note that Wild Florida will be temporarily closed during the week in September. The closure dates are September 3-6 and then Mondays through Thursdays for the rest of the month. We’re thrilled to welcome you back on weekends and Fridays starting September 13. Treetop Trek and Wetlands Kayaking will not be available, and our giraffes will be enjoying some extra rest on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with appearances starting after noon. Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to bring you even more exciting experiences!

In Florida, thunderstorms with lightning happen regularly. For the safety of our guests, the Zoo stops certain activities when thunder is heard. Our rule of thumb is to wait 30 minutes after the last clap of thunder before resuming kayaking, Treetop Trek, and Paws On water play activities.

Adventure Courses

If you crave adventure, dive into the wild side with our Zoo’s thrilling adventure courses. Take your pick from this fun trio: Zip It, where you’ll soar through the air; Canopy Walk, a treetop odyssey; and Challenge, a test of courage and skill. Feeling bold? Conquer all three and make it an unforgettable trip! Courses start at $15/person.

Kayaking Tour

A group of people are kayaking alongside the giraffe habitat.

Enjoy a guided tour of the Nyami Nyami River as you float past giraffe, rhinos, lemurs and more in Expedition Africa or take a self-guided tour and discover local wildlife in our restored Wetlands in Wild Florida. Age restrictions apply.

Cape to Cairo Express

All aboard! Enjoy a 10-minute excursion past camels, African cattle and exotic antelope.

Closer Look: Rainforest Revealed Experience

Explore our Rainforest Revealed loop and learn more about some of its animal residents on this guided tour for 3-8 guests before enjoying a special animal encounter! Encounters are open to guests ages 7 and up. Space is limited so reserve your spot today.

Paws On

Splash around in the Indian River Play Lagoon; view tarpon, sheepshead and stingrays in a 20,000-gallon aquarium; meet goats and tortoises in the Barnyard and much more in this area designed especially for our younger guests. Opens daily at 10 am.

Giraffe Feedings

See eye to eye with these gentle giants as they eagerly pluck food from your hands!

Rhino Encounters

Multiple people are outside a private rhino encounter.

Get up close and personal with our rhinos and learn from keepers about these incredible giants. Available for those ages 7 and up. Space is limited so reserve your spot today.

Aquatic Animal Experience

From flamingos and terrapins to stingrays and river monsters, join us to learn more about the aquatic animals of Brevard Zoo as you journey through the Zoo and take part in up-close animal encounters! Participants in this tour may have the opportunity to feed multiple aquatic species, including flamingos, arapaima, stingrays, and terrapins.

Sloth Encounter

Come and hang out with one of the Zoo’s most beloved animals – our sloths! These slow-moving, nocturnal mammals love to hang upside down and meet new friends. Get an insider’s perspective straight from our animal care team as you dive into the feeding experience with one of our sloths.
