It’s time to spread Halloween magic!

Boo at the Zoo is almost here! We’ve compiled some tips to help you make the most of this all-inclusive Halloween experience:

Take advantage of dynamic pricing

To balance out crowds, admission is lower on Fridays and Sundays. The price difference can be significant; for example, you’ll save six dollars per person by attending on the first Friday rather than the third Saturday! Members receive discounts on the first two Fridays and Sundays, too.

Plan ahead

Review the schedule beforehand and decide what you and your family would like to do. Lines grow longer as the night goes on, so we recommend experiencing attractions and shows first, then wrapping things up with trick-or-treating.

Don’t miss the Boo Choo Train, haunted swamp (recommended for ages eight and up), games in Paws On and the 6:30 costume contest in Lands of Change.

It’s also worth noting that, because Boo at the Zoo is an after-hours event, most of the animals will not be visible.

Dress comfortably

We encourage guests of all ages to wear costumes, but advise you to keep it simple—even in October, Florida is characteristically hot and humid. Keep masks and makeup to a minimum, choose sensible footwear and avoid non-breathable materials like polyester. These are just suggestions; if you want to arrive dressed to the nines, go for it!

Bring a bag

With more than 30 treat stations dispensing sugary snacks, you’re going to need something to hold your candy! A limited number of bags will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
