Sammy our 18-year-old Linne’s two-toed sloth gave birth to a healthy baby on March 14. Sammy, having delivered three babies before, is an expert caretaker, and both Mom and baby are doing great.

Our animal care team has started the careful process of introducing 8-month-old Finn and 5-month-old Marceline to the rest of our spider monkey troop.

Poppy was found struggling on the surface of the water near the Sebastian Saltwater Marina Restaurant’s dock. While the severity of Poppy’s condition was not immediately known, it soon became clear that this was a dangerous situation for the little turtle.
