Reggie, formally Reginald Von Howler, the black howler monkey has recently moved into our Flooded Forest habitat in Rainforest Revealed.

It’s been a baby bonanza at our Zoo over the last few months! Read on to learn more about each of the new babies we’ve welcomed. 

We’re sorry to share that we made the difficult decision to euthanize the leader of our black howler monkey troop, 19-year-old Stormy, due to advanced kidney failure.   

Fourteen-year-old howler monkey Baya gave birth overnight on April 30 to a healthy baby.

Our first-ever black howler monkey has been born to mom Baya and dad Stormy.

Our two groups of howler monkeys have officially met after a period of introductions called “howdys”.
