Many new faces have been hopping through our recently renovated Kangaroo Walkabout! We’ve welcomed a new Western grey kangaroo, a Reeve’s muntjac and two red-necked wallabies.

The next time you see a flash of brown run past you on the sandy trail, we can assure you it wasn’t your imagination. It’s likely one of our two Reeve’s muntjacs, Harriet or Kirby! With their shy personalities and slight stature, they often go unnoticed by the average zoo-goer.  

We recently welcomed 12-year-old muntjac Harriet to the Kangaroo Walkabout in our Lands of Change: Australia and Beyond section of the Zoo.
