Restore Our Shore’s busiest season has come to an end! Our dedicated team made incredible conservation achievements over the last few months. Let’s go through some of our team’s biggest wins of 2024. 

After almost 20 years, our Lagoon Quest program needed an update to be an even better resource for local teachers and modernize it for today’s students. Thanks to a grant from Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Outdoor Fund, our Education staff were able to team up with six local teachers to do so.

Celebrate Arbor Day by adopting a free mangrove from us! We’re giving away 150 mature and juvenile mangroves in honor of the 150th anniversary of Arbor Day.

The Indian River Lagoon now contains hundreds of thousands of filter-feeding clams, thanks to the efforts of Brevard Zoo’s Restore Our Shores (ROS) team and our partners!
