November 23 is quickly approaching, and we hope you’re as excited as we are about the opening of Rainforest Revealed!

Most of the new animals (like giant otters, venomous snakes and Amazonian fish) have moved in and are ready to greet you on Saturday, and returning favorites (like jaguars, Baird’s tapirs, giant anteaters and monkeys) will be there, too.

We wanted to let you know that while everything we’ve promised you is still coming, a few aspects of this thrilling new addition will not be in place on opening day. This includes the large “flooded forest” aviary, a few overhead tunnels, additional spider monkey living spaces, the spider monkey cognition center, capybaras, and some birds and fish.

The upside of this is that, if you’re a member, this area will literally evolve before your eyes as new experiences and animals debut on a weekly basis. The aviary will be finished shortly after Thanksgiving, and everything else should be up and running early next year.

We hope you’re ready for an epic adventure because Rainforest Revealed is sure to knock your socks off!
