We have some egg-cellent news to share! Early this morning, for the first time in about 79 million years, six Diabloceratops hatched on the Dinosaurs Are Back! trail. Mom and her babies are doing well.
Diabloceratops was discovered in Utah in 1998. Named “devil horn face” for its intimidating appearance, this Cretaceous herbivore measured approximately 18 feet in length when fully grown.
Update: The contest has closed. Thank you to everyone who submitted a name! We’ll announce the winners shortly.
