2025 was a year of major acceleration toward bringing Bowen Aquarium to life. From hitting campaign milestones to finalizing construction designs, there’s a lot to celebrate.  

East Coast Zoological Foundation’s Sea Turtle Healing Center at Brevard Zoo never really experiences a slow year – and 2025 was no exception.  

2025 was full of conservation wins at our Zoo, and that includes expanding our expert care to help one of Florida’s most iconic species: manatees!

This Giving Tuesday, we are highlighting our important work with black-handed spider monkeys. Our spider monkey habitat opened in 2020 and later that year our Zoo became a place where rescued spider monkeys can get a second chance at life.
