ENDANGERED SPECIES DAY

This Endangered Species Day we are hosting a wide variety of educational and fun activities for you and your family to enjoy.
Receive your endangered species passport as you travel around the Zoo! At each of our endangered species stations we will an activity that will earn you a stamp in your passport. Collect all four stamps and bring them back to the starting point at the front of the Zoo for a prize!
And, don’t leave without making a craft! We will have Florida grasshopper sparrow banding station where kids can color and band their own sparrows. Then, the hunt begins to find the birds hidden somewhere in the Zoo, just like a wildlife biologist would do in the field!
Attend any time between the hours of 9:30 AM – 3 PM.
This event is free with Zoo admission.
REFUND POLICY
- No refunds will be issued once a ticket is purchased.
- No refunds or rain checks will be issued due to inclement weather. The Zoo is an outdoor facility with little indoor space. Please plan your trip to the Zoo accordingly based upon the anticipated weather conditions for that day.
- No refunds will be issued to anyone removed from the Zoo for failure to follow the Rules of the Wild.
