Brevard Zoo Sloth Encounter
Come and hang out with one of the Zoo’s most beloved animals – our sloths! These slow-moving, nocturnal mammals love to hang upside down and meet new friends. Get an insider’s perspective straight from our animal care team as you dive into the feeding experience with one of our sloths. While touching is not allowed, we do encourage guests to take a slothie! Each encounter is 15-20 minutes long and full of fun. Open to guests 7 & up, with only six spaces available per encounter. Zoo admission required.
Only age-appropriate guests with tickets will be permitted in the behind-the-scenes encounter area. Please plan accordingly for supervision for any members of your party who are under 7. If your party size is less than six, other guests may join the experience.
Please note:
Because some animal experiences are behind the scenes, not all areas are wheelchair accessible. Some portions of a route may be composed of loose, sandy soil and narrow pathways. Some encounters may require participants to kneel or sit on a low bench without assistance.
