Conservation Programs

We make a tremendous impact in our own backyard. Here are some of the projects that we are participating in to ensure vibrant habitats and healthy waters in our region. Click on each project to learn more.

Our behind-the-scenes facility exists to nurse sick and injured sea turtles back to health, from mighty adults to petite hatchlings and washbacks.

We care for abandoned cubs at our rehabilitation center, help them recover and release them back into their natural habitats across the state.

Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center provides immediate care to one of Florida’s most iconic species.

Florida grasshopper sparrows are the United States’ most endangered bird, and we, along with our partners, are helping to breed them back from the brink of extinction.

These tiny-but-mighty rodents are known as “keepers of the dunes,” and we are leading a conservation breeding program that is helping to save them.
