Brevard Zoo Kayaking

We are the only zoo in the country to offer guided kayaking tours around animal habitats.

Choose a guided kayaking tour through Expedition Africa where you will see our lions, giraffe, rhinos and other African animals from a different perspective, or go off on your own adventure in Wild Florida where you will see various Florida wildlife in our restored wetlands.

Weather permitting, this activity is offered daily from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Participants must be 5 years or older and children under 12 must be accompanied by a paid adult. Kayaks are provided by the Zoo. Each kayak holds 500 pounds distributed. Tickets must be purchased at the Zoo and are not included in Zoo admission. Don’t miss out on the fun! Make sure to plan your trip accordingly. We can’t wait to see you on the water!

Kayaking tickets are available at Kayak Beach in Expedition Africa or the Zoo’s main service window. Tickets for kayaking in Wild Florida are available at the Wetlands Outpost or the Zoo’s main service window. Children under 5 are not permitted to kayak and children under 12 must be accompanied by a paid adult.
