At East Coast Zoological Foundation’s Brevard Zoo campus, those moments are made even more powerful when conservation and animal well-being are at the heart of the experience.
Our mission is to help wildlife and people thrive, and one of the ways we bring that mission to life is by inspiring the next generation to care about the world around them. Through hands-on programs, camps, and community experiences, our Conservation Learning team helps people of all ages connect with wildlife, understand the role we each play in protecting it, and see that learning at the Zoo is for everyone.
For Susan and Howard Zemser, that belief is deeply personal. Their love for the environment, for animals, and for the families who benefit from meaningful learning experiences has inspired a lasting commitment to helping more children access those opportunities.

In honor of their late son, the Zemsers’ established the Wild About Education: Midshipman 3/C Justin Zemser Memorial Endowment for Education and Conservation to support Conservation Learning programs at East Coast Zoological Foundation, currently at the Brevard Zoo campus.
