Unleash your creativity at our Adult Paint & Sip event, hosted by Cocoa Beach’s Trent Art Gallery! Enjoy a guided, step-by-step painting experience inside the Zoo after hours, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Each session includes art materials, up-close animal encounters for inspiration, and a complimentary drink. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a first-timer, you’ll leave with a masterpiece and unforgettable memories. $60/person.

Father’s Day Free Admission  | June 15

Dads are treated to free admission to the Zoo on Father’s Day (Sunday, June 15)! Parents must be accompanied by a paying child of any age. Tickets can be purchased online or in person.

World Sea Turtle Day | June 15

Dive into the excitement of our yearly sea turtle extravaganza! Immerse yourself in an ocean of knowledge as you explore our sea turtle rehabilitation initiatives. Meet Florida scientists to are working to protect sea turtles and their habitats, get hands-on with engaging activities and unravel the mysteries of these awe-inspiring creatures who call our beaches home.

Youth Environmental Summit | July 1 | 9:30 AM – 4 PM

Are you passionate about the environment? Do you want to make our world a better place? Teens ages 12-18 are invited to join a group of like-minded peers for this youth conference to network with professionals, hobbyists and students working to protect our local waterways. Repurpose items into crafty animal enrichment, brainstorm unique ways to reduce our environmental footprint and engage in more interactive fun!

Science Sundays | July 6 - August 31 | 10 AM - 3 PM

Join us for our Science Sunday series, where you can beat the heat and learn something neat! This series is designed to inspire curiosity and foster a love of science among guests of all ages. Dive into engaging, hands-on activities led by knowledgeable experts all while cooling off in our air-conditioned space, Nyami Nyami River Lodge.

Roaring Back to School | August 10

Roar in a new school year with a trip to the Zoo! Throughout the day, join our zookeepers and conservation educators for special chats about these fascinating cats while our lion trio celebrates with some of their favorite enrichment.

Happy Hour: Bold Murals Edition | September 4 | 5:30 - 7:30 PM

Sip, socialize, and celebrate art and wildlife! This 21+-only, limited-ticket event lets you explore the Bold Murals exhibition after hours while enjoying up-close animal encounters, live music and yard games, live painting by our animal residents (yes, really!), meet-the-artist opportunities, bold signature cocktails and mocktails (your first drink included) and light appetizers.
