Bold Murals | February 15-May 11; Artists Paint February 15-17

Over President’s Weekend in February, the Zoo will come to life with bold, breathtaking murals! Watch as 14 talented artists transform wood canvases and select Zoo buildings with stunning works inspired by the theme “How Does Nature Bring You Joy?” These vibrant murals will remain on display throughout the Zoo until May 2025.

World Seagrass Day | March 1 | 10 AM - 3 PM

Celebrate World Seagrass Day with Restore Our Shores at the Zoo! Enjoy fun activities in our center loop from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. There will also be opportunities to learn about these important plants and how to help our Indian River Lagoon from several lagoon-focused organizations. Free with Zoo admission. 

Adult Program: Zookeeper Olympics | March 8 | 10 AM - 12 PM

Olympians are the ultimate athletes, but Zookeepers are the ultimate animal care experts. They may not earn medals, but we’re going to test your strength, stamina, and skill to see if you can hang with the rigors of a zookeeper’s day. $23/Member, $28/Non-Member.

Happy Hour: Bold Murals Edition | March 13 | 5:30 - 7:30 PM

Sip, socialize, and celebrate art and wildlife! This 21+-only, limited-ticket event lets you explore the Bold Murals exhibition after hours while enjoying up-close animal encounters, live music and yard games, live painting by our animal residents (yes, really!), meet-the-artist opportunities, bold signature cocktails and mocktails (your first drink included), and light appetizers. $40/person.

Brushes in the Wild | April 3 | 5:30 - 7:00 PM

Unleash your creativity at our Adult Paint & Sip event, hosted by Cocoa Beach’s Trent Art Gallery! Enjoy a guided, step-by-step painting experience inside the Zoo after hours, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Each session includes art materials, up-close animal encounters for inspiration, and a complimentary drink. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a first-timer, you’ll leave with a masterpiece and unforgettable memories. $60/person.

Safari Under the Stars | April 26 | 6 - 11 PM

You’re invited to support our most spectacular event of the year! Attendees will enjoy a special pre-party with animal encounters, sumptuous culinary delights, refreshing libations, signature entertainment and a magical Safari After Dark party.
