Florida Residents: Kids Free September | September 1 - 30

During the whole month of September, kids 11 years of age and younger receive FREE Zoo admission when accompanied by a paying adult who is a Florida resident.

Happy Hour: Bold Murals Edition | September 4 | 5:30 - 7:30 PM

Sip, socialize, and celebrate art and wildlife! This 21+-only, limited-ticket event lets you explore the Bold Murals exhibition after hours while enjoying up-close animal encounters, live music and yard games, live painting by our animal residents (yes, really!), meet-the-artist opportunities, bold signature cocktails and mocktails (your first drink included) and light appetizers.

Family Program: Behind the Tracks | September 6, 7, 20 and 21 | 9:15 – 10:15 AM

Ever wonder what keeps the Zoo train chugging along? Go behind the tracks for a special look at the inner workings of the Cape to Cairo Express!

Adult Program: Adult Trivia Challenge | September 13 | 6 - 8 PM

Put your knowledge to the test in this lively trivia challenge featuring brain-teasing questions about animal behavior, Zoo history, conservation and more – perfect for curious minds and competitive spirits alike!

Teacher Open House | September 17 | 5:30 – 7:30 PM

Teachers, join us for a special evening just for you! Connect with over 30 educational organizations and businesses from across Central Florida as you enjoy a night of mixing and mingling with fellow educators.

Nature Preschool Open House | September 26 | 9AM - 12 PM & 1 - 4 PM

Families interested in our Nature Preschool are invited to attend an open house. Children must be 3 years old and able to use the bathroom independently to be eligible.

Brevard Zoo Legacy Classic | September 22

A day of golf has never been so wild! Up to 120 golfers will tee off as foursomes playing in a traditional scramble format.

Adult Program: Photography Series | September 27, February 28 & April 25

Whether you are a seasoned photographer or a new photography enthusiast, enjoy unprecedented access to the Zoo’s animals in this photography workshop series. Covering a new topic during each workshop, our experienced instructor will teach you how to work with challenging lighting conditions and optimize your camera’s settings during this brand-new series.

Adult Program: Animal Oddities and Curiosities | October 11 | 5 - 7 PM

Uncover the strange and spectacular side of nature this spooky season! Explore animal oddities, investigate bones and skulls and discover the strange science that makes the animal kingdom so unique while you create your own cabinet of curiosities.

Adult Program: Overnight | November 15 | 6 PM – 9 AM

Adult Program: Fall Camp | November 29 & 30 | 9 AM – 3 PM, daily

Who says Zoo camp is just for kids? This two-day experience is packed with hands-on animal encounters, classic camp games with a Zoo spin, creative nature crafts and behind-the-scenes adventures you won’t find on a regular visit. Camp t-shirt included!

Florida Residents: Senior Discount December | December 1 - 24

During this period, senior Florida residents aged 65+ can enjoy $10 Zoo admission. 

Kids’ Holiday Hang Out | December 5 | 5 - 8 PM

While you check off your holiday to-do list, drop your kids off at the Zoo for an evening of festive fun!

Step into the field and join us for a guided birding adventure beyond the Zoo!
