Exclusive Zoo School Experience

In this 3 day Homeschool opportunity, your child will learn about the intricate details of the food chain, the importance of plants, and how nature and technology are connected.  Through hands on explorations, including, dissections, experiments, and data collection, this expended experience aims to get them more connected to the zoo and the world around us.

Cold-blooded Creatures

Are they really cold-blooded? Let’s investigate how these animals use the environment to regulate their body temperature. Using surface thermometers, thermal imaging, and real live reptiles, we’ll discover the internal difference between cold-blooded and warm-blooded animals.

While collecting and identifying some of the small creatures that call our wetlands their home, you will learn how truly important our wetlands conservation is.
