Moms are treated to free admission to the Zoo on Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 12)! Parents must be accompanied by a paying child of any age. Tickets can be purchased online or in person.

Mother’s Day Brunch | May 12, 2024 | 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Skip breakfast in bed for mom and opt for a wildly unique brunch at the Zoo’s Nyami Nyami River Lodge! Guests will be able to meet one of our animated animals and take part in a Mother’s Day-themed educational scavenger hunt before enjoying a delicious brunch buffet. One drink ticket for a beer, wine or mimosa will be included for each adult guest, with the opportunity to purchase additional drinks. Get ready to embark on a wild adventure at Brevard Zoo! In 2022, we welcomed a special group of guests: the frosted flatwood salamanders! These tiny treasures are facing a big challenge—extinction. Our Zoo staff will be your guides through the enchanting world of these amazing amphibians. Discover their secrets, learn about their habitat, and find out how we’re leading the charge to keep them thriving.

Come celebrate World Otter Day with Brevard Zoo’s giant otters and all of their magical friends. During this spellbinding day, come experience unique animal encounters, magical activities, and more. Be sure to dress in your magical best!

Youth Environmental Summit | July 1 | 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Are you passionate about the environment? Do you want to make our world a better place? Teens ages 12-18 are invited to join a group of like-minded peers for this youth conference to network with professionals, hobbyists, and students working to protect our local waterways. Repurpose items into crafty animal enrichment, brainstorm unique ways to reduce our environmental footprint, and engage in more interactive fun!
