After an 11-month rehabilitation journey, sub-adult green sea turtle Roadhouse is heading home to the water!

We’re thrilled to be releasing a 7-pound juvenile green sea turtle named Opal back to the ocean at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19 at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach!

Jolene, a 374-pound adult green sea turtle, came to our Sea Turtle Healing Center on Friday, July 7, for care.

Our Sea Turtle Healing Center team has started growing algae for their patients! Diet is so important for recovering patients.

McNubbins the green sea turtle calls Brevard Zoo’s Sea Turtle Healing Center home for now. This turtle is not releasable.

Our Sea Turtle Healing Center recently lent a flipper to another rehabilitation facility looking for a specialized treatment for one of their sea turtle patients. 

Our first sea turtle patient of 2023, Spicy Hawaiian, is set to go home to the ocean along with our 100th green sea turtle patient of 2022, Benjamin, at the Beach ‘N Boards Festival on Friday, March 10 at 4 p.m.
