In the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, more than 200 baby sea turtles were brought to our Sea Turtle Healing Center for care.

We recently released a green sea turtle named Speedy who spent about five months being rehabilitated at our Sea Turtle Healing Center.

After completing their rehabilitation journeys at our Sea Turtle Healing Center, green sea turtles Boston and Robin were returned to the ocean this Saturday.

After five months and two surgeries at our Sea Turtle Healing Center, Nephron the green sea turtle was returned home to the ocean!

After three months of care, loggerhead sea turtle Myrtle was released at Lori Wilson Park at 9:30 a.m. this morning.

After nearly 4 months of care from our Sea Turtle Healing Center, it was Clover the juvenile green sea turtle’s lucky day! They were recently returned to the ocean.  

We wished juvenile green sea turtle Reptar well as we sent him back to the ocean on World Sea Turtle Day, June 16, 2022!
