Planned Giving is any gift to Brevard Zoo made as part of a donor’s overall financial and/or estate planning. These include gifts of equity, life insurance, real estate, personal property or cash. They are usually determined by the individual with the help of their attorney or financial planner. In many cases, you may be able to leave a larger gift than you thought possible while still providing for the needs of your heirs.
Donors can direct their gift to a certain area or program at the Zoo to ensure the same wonderful quality of life elements to be enjoyed for generations to come. If there is not a designation, funds will be directed to the Zoo endowment currently administered by Community Foundation.
By including Brevard Zoo in your planned giving, you become part of our supportive family and an automatic member of our time honored Rafiki Circle. Your generosity will be recognized at the Zoo and you will be invited to a special appreciation event.
Brevard Zoo staff do not become “Financial Planners” or give financial advice. We encourage potential donors to talk with their financial advisor/legal counsel about adding Brevard Zoo to their estate plan.
