An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
By visiting Brevard Zoo, you are voluntarily assuming all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
The guidelines listed below are TEMPORARY and will be lifted once it is safe to do so. Changes can occur at any time.

All Zoo visits now require a timed ticket for both members and non-members that must be reserved online. Member tickets are FREE, but you are required to reserve a timed ticket online.
Guest and Member Services will be operating at a limited capacity to assist with membership and ticketing issues only. Timed ticket purchasing and reserving will need to be done online prior to your visit.
You cannot show up at the Zoo without a timed-entry ticket. If you show up without a ticket, entry will be contingent on availability.
Mask or Other Facial Covering
All adults and children ages seven years of age and older must have a facial covering or mask that covers the nose and mouth to enter the Zoo. Inside the park, you must continue to wear your mask at all times, either around your neck, off your ear or in your hand. Do not put your mask in your pocket, purse or stroller. If you can practice social distancing from other guests, you do not need to cover your nose and mouth with your mask. But when you can’t social distance, respect other guests and cover your mouth and nose with your mask. Be prepared for MASK ZONE areas. You will be required to wear your mask in these areas. The safety of our animals, staff, volunteers and other guests is important. Thank you for understanding.
Refillable Water Bottles
Our drinking fountains are closed for the safety of our guests. Refillable water bottle stations are located near the Wonders of the Wild gift shop in the front of the Zoo and by the restrooms at Nourish 321. You can purchase single-use water bottles at our food and beverage venues.
If you plan to experience a paid activity, rent a stroller or make other transactions in the Zoo, please note that we are not accepting cash at this time. We require a $4 minimum for every credit card purchase. Vending machines are available to purchase drinks and do take cash.
Please note that these precautions are TEMPORARY and will be lifted once it is safe to do so. Please be patient with us as we try to best accommodate guest needs and state directives.
We want to thank you, our community, for your patience and support. We look forward to seeing you back at the Zoo!
