The story of how Brevard Zoo came to be is one of deep pride in our community, not to mention the more than 16,000 volunteers who participated in its construction. It began as a small group of people with a big dream: to build a world-class zoo that would serve as a conservation hub where people could gather to learn about animals and nature.
Our amazing community has continued to embrace and actualize our successes and many advances in our missions of animal wellness, wildlife preservation and conservation, and connecting families to nature. Your Zoo has transformed from our initial “small Zoo that does big things” into an institution of renown accomplishment and life-changing outcomes. Our 25th anniversary marks a bold and dramatic bridge to a future of unimaginably exciting horizons and achievements.
Celebrate our first quarter-century by purchasing a spot on a beautiful new monument accessible for everyone to see just outside the Zoo entrance. Guests will be able to walk through this beautiful recognition enclave and view the names of our loyal supporters. The Zoo was built by 16,000 volunteers, and this monument will have space for the same number of names to be engraved on its three pillars.
