MEMBER APPRECIATION WEEK

Welcome to Member Appreciation Week at the Zoo! Each day, from Monday, August 5 to Sunday, August 11, we will celebrate our valued members with themed activities and special perks across different areas of the Zoo. Members can enter a raffle for a bag full of Zoo goodies, enjoy exclusive giveaways like magnets and stickers, and bring an additional guest for free on select days. Plus, enjoy a special 20% discount in the gift store (this includes an extra discount on sale items) and .99 Zoo souvenir cup refills all week long. 

Please note: reservations for activities cannot be made online or over the phone. As there is limited availability for kayaking and Treetop Trek, we encourage you to arrive early to reserve a spot.

The activities are available for free exclusively on the designated day, subject to limited capacity. This includes animal feedings. Please note that rainchecks or vouchers for alternative days are not available.

Monday, August 5: Kick-Off with a special animal encounter at 9:00 AM, family-friendly music, magnet/sticker giveaways to the first 100 households, and free kayaking for members and one guest. As a bonus, you can bring an additional guest per membership for free!

Tuesday, August 6: We’ll be celebrating the Restore Our Shores progams with oyster shell painting, free train rides for members and one guest, SSA Zoo souvenir cup giveaway to first 100 households, and chats with Restore Our Shores staff. We’d love to see members dress as their favorite aquatic animal!

Wednesday, August 7: Explore the Paws On Loop with a special animal encounter at 9:00 AM, games, crafts with our Zoo Teens, a Stingray Keeper Chat at 2:00 p.m., and pencil giveaways for kids*while supplies last. As a bonus, you can bring an additional guest per membership for free! 

Thursday, August 8: Discover the Land of Change Loop with free aviary feedings for members and one guest, SSA Zoo souvenir cup giveaway to first 100 households, and themed animal enrichment and a Keeper Chat with our babirusas at 2:00 p.m.

Friday, August 9: Experience the Wild Florida Loop with free Canopy & Zip It, 50% off Challenge courses, and themed animal enrichment and a Keeper Chat with our bobcats at 2:00 p.m. Head on over to the lodge to enjoy air conditioning and learn more about all of the programs that the Zoo offers. Plus, the first 100 households will receive a magnet/sticker! As a bonus, you can bring an additional guest per membership for free!

Sunday, August 11: Conclude with the Rainforest Revealed Loop, seed packet giveaways to the first 150 households, themed animal enrichment and a Keeper Chat with our coatis at 2:00 p.m., and free train rides for members and one guest.
