Name: Coco
Species: Green
Date admitted: January 24, 2021
Stranding location: Palm Beach
Status: In treatment
Admission notes: This juvenile green sea turtle stranded in Palm Beach and was originally taken into the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, but was transferred to us the following day. Coco was found entangled in fishing line but luckily had no major injuries from it. This sea turtle does have numerous smaller FP tumors. So far, Coco has been very active and has tried our food (though it’s not their favorite). We are hoping they will come around soon!
