DESCRIPTION:See the Zoo in early morning light! \nEver wondered what it takes to get the Zoo ready for visitors? Thursdays – Sundays from June 25 through August 9\, we are opening an hour early at 8 AM for all guests. \nVisit us before the sun gets too high in the sky and watch as our staff get the Zoo ready for the day! From cleaning habitats to serving animals their breakfast\, there is lots to experience! Please keep in mind this means that not all of our animals will be on habitat this early. For this limited time\, our attractions in the park will also have modified hours. \n• The first tour group for Africa kayaking will now be 9:30 AM\n• Treetop Trek’s first admission will be 9 AM and will only be operating Friday\, Saturday and Sunday that weekend.\n• Our new VR Experience will open at 9 AM\n• Train\, our bird aviaries and kangaroo walkabout will operate regular hours. \n\n\n\n. \n

Plus\, enjoy 50% off our Chutes Treetop Trek course. \nMonday\, August 3: Visit with one of our ambassador animals near the front entrance of the zoo at 9 AM\, then listen to a special Keeper Chat at our giant river otter habitat at 10 AM. Enjoy scratch art giveaways (while supplies last). Plus\, participate in free kayaking for members and one guest. As a bonus\, you can bring an additional guest per membership for free!  \nTuesday\, August 4: We’ll be celebrating the Restore Our Shores programs with oyster shell painting\, ocean animal mask giveaways (while supplies last)\, and chats with ROS staff. We’d love to see members dress as their favorite aquatic animal! \nWednesday\, August 5: Visit with one of our ambassador animals near the front entrance of the zoo at 9 AM. Stroll through dimly lit pathways lined with glowing jack-o-lanterns\, foggy forests and larger-than-life displays. \nBeware the Night is family-friendly and intended for all ages. Some locations of the park may be spookier than others as you encounter dark and atmospheric areas of the event. \nEvery Friday and Saturday in October\, we turn up the scares with River’s Revenge! This is an optional thrill experience on a behind the scenes trail complete with jump scares\, mazes and creatures. This experience is included as part of your ticket purchase on these nights and is recommended for ages 13 and up. \nLearn More Tickets
