What supplies or materials will I need?

Please see each camp’s description for a list of suggested supplies and additional needs.

Does my child have to participate the entire time?

No. Our camp counselors will engage with campers through Zoom, but we understand that campers will get up and move around, leave and come back, etc. We have built in times for short breaks with engagement opportunities for those who wish to stay tuned in. Parents will receive a daily outline so those “movers and shakers” won’t miss out on things they may be looking forward to.

My home has a lot going on. How will my child stay focused?

No worries. Here are our suggestions:

  • Headphones
  • Quiet area
  • The Zoom platform enables us to mute and unmute participants’ audio. So if your dog is barking in the background, don’t worry—it won’t distract the educators or other campers.
  • We have a lot packed into this live, three-hour experience. Having not done this before, we will be making constant adjustments to keep campers engaged. However, parental guidance, participation, and preparation are encouraged. So join us with your camper for an animal talk to brighten your day!
What does household mean?
