SCOUTS

For ages 5 & up. Include Brevard Zoo in your next scouting experience! Learn about the Zoo and our animal collection in one of our fun-filled scout programs, overnights, night hikes or during Scout Day. All programs complement scout badge requirements. Click HERE for a flyer.



Annual Scout Day & Overnight

Annual Scout Day
May 6, 2017

Join us for Scout Day 2017! Bring your troop and come spend the day participating in hands-on activities, special Scout activities and more! Scout Day is a special event and admission is required for activities.  Don’t let your Scout or troop miss another year of fun! Maximum of 8 tickets can be purchased at one time. If your group is larger, more transactions are required.

Is your troop, pack, or Scout working hard to complete an award or project? Come and share your project with Scouts to help earn your award! Requests are now being taken to have a  table to display Scout projects at the Zoo during Scout Day! Please email edprograms@brevardzoo.org for more information.

Annual Scout Overnight & Day
May 5 & 6, 2017

Bring your troop for a wild camp-in at the Zoo for extra fun before Scout Day! Save some travel time by being the first in the Zoo for Scout Day in the morning! Individual Scouts may sign up with a parent if your troop can not attend. All participants must have signed registration forms to participate, please click here. Your tickets will need to be printed for Zoo entry. If parents are unable to attend overnight and your leader is attending, but would like to accompany their child the next day, please purchase a Scout Day ticket! SCOUT NIGHT HIKES & OVERNIGHTS

Have you ever been to the Zoo at night? It is the wildest place in Brevard! Everyone will enjoy a night safari hike into the Zoo, up close animal encounters, crafts and activities and pizza for dinner. Or spend the night at the wildest place in Brevard and conclude the adventure with a continental breakfast in the morning. Your troop can extend your adventure by adding Zoo admission the following day.

Program Time: Friday and Saturday evenings from 6 – 9 pm

OVERNIGHTS

Program Time: Friday and Saturday evenings from 6 pm – 9 am

One free adult for every 10 scouts. Minimum of 15 paid participants. Maximum 50 participants. Call 321.254.9453 x252 or email edprograms@brevardzoo.org to schedule your troop’s next adventure!

 


SCOUTING WORKSHOPS

Brevard Zoo offers scouts a variety of workshops that meet badge requirements. Each workshop promises hands-on fun and learning with planned activities, animal encounters and admission to the Zoo. Workshops are available on Saturday, Sunday and school holidays. Pick a date and a workshop, then contact the Education Registrar at 321.254.9453 x252 or edprograms@brevardzoo.org for a fantastic scouting adventure! Don’t see your badge? Sign up for a night hike or overnight for a more customized experience. To download registration forms to distribute to your group, click here.
