May 18, 2020: Radiographs upon intake showed that this turtle’s GI was full of gas and fecal. Within a few days of care, Domino was able to lay on the bottom of the pool and started passing fecal. They had a CT scan on May 8 and results showed no obvious internal tumors in the organs and that the boat strike did not affect the spinal canal or even much of the vertebra. It did uncover, however, possible FP lesions in the left humorous, left distal femur and left tibia. We will do another CT scan to watch the progress of these lesions.
