Join us this Saturday, March 6 for Running Zone's fourth annual 3K race at the Zoo at 7:30 a.m. The race course takes runners/walkers through the Zoo and winners receive great prizes! There will be a FREE Li'l Cheetah Kiddie Run after the main envent and race participants receive 50% off admission into the Zoo the day of the race. Educational Zoo Camps are a great way for your child to experience the wonder of nature and explore the amazing animals here at the Zoo. If you have been to the vulture exhibit in La Selva, make sure to stop by on your next visit to the Zoo. We renovated the exhibit this fall and introduced a Yellow-headed vulture named Vinnie to the rest of the vultures on exhibit--four King, one Black, and three Turkey. Vinnie is extremely charming and a great addition to our daily noon-time vulture demonstration with Zookeeper staff.
